Soren Alf Correia graduated from SUNY Purchase with a Bachelors in Playwrighting/Screenwriting. His studies culminated in a feature-length screenplay titled Saga, advised by professional screenwriter, Mattson Tomlin, (The Batman Part II, Mother//Android, Project Power), Soren earned top marks for the project and continued his craft beyond graduation, writing scripts such as The Modern State of Wizardry, which has earned quarterfinalist placements in The Monthly Film Festival, The Los Angeles International Screenplay Competition, and Script2Comic.
His newer works, Gnome Core (Quarterfinalist in the Inroads Fellowship and Emerging Screenwriters: Animation Competition) and On the 'Fuge, have earned glowing praise throughout the creation process from industry professionals and Writingpad Instructors Lauren Wells, (What We Do in the Shadows), and Ashley Skidmore, (Younger, The Bold Type, Glamorous) .

Gnome Core:
Logline: The outcast punk band, Gnome Core, thinks oak tree society is too stuffy and hegemonic for its own good, but when it’s threatened by hippy witches, a rival gnome tricycle gang, and the dreaded Human Homeowner’s Association encroaching on their turf, these little gnomes will band together to defend it.
On the 'Fuge:
Logline: When a family of foul-mouthed wombats is displaced and separated by growing Australian bushfires, they find themselves in the strange and alien world of a Wildlife Refuge. Teen mom, Melanie Wombie, will be forced to find her new place in the food chain, clashing with Fashion-Forward Flamingos, Fight-Club Kangaroos, and Stoner Koalas on her journey to find her baby.
